Bloc Party are coming to New Zealand for a one-night-only show at The Powerstation in Auckland.
The UK indie rock band were last here for a show at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau in 2007.
They are returning as part of a global tour for their new album Four, released in August last year.
Promoters Solid Entertainment say The Powerstation is the perfect venue for the band.
"The roofs gonna come off, pure and simple."
Bloc Party's debut 2005 album Silent Alarm was voted best of the year by NME and their sophomore effort A Weekend in the City reached number two on the UK album charts.
A pre-sale for the show will take place on Ticketmaster on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Josh Groban has announced he is performing in New Zealand for the first time.
The wildly popular Los Angeles singer will play a single show at Vector Arena on April 13.
He was looking forward to bringing his band, which features Andre Manga on bass, Ruslan Sirota on keys, Pete Korpela on percussion, Tariqh Akoni on guitar and Dave DiCenso on drums, to Australia and New Zealand.
"The fans, the venues and the overall beauty of the countries make them destinations I look forward to bringing my music to, time and time again."
Tickets go on sale at 9am on February 11.
