Summer's already bulging at the musical seams, but it just go even busier with confirmation that a new one-day festival is coming to Mt Maunganui.
The line-up for Bay Dreams, being held at Bay Park Stadium on January 2, includes Pendulum, DJ Premier, Chali2na, The Black Seeds and Concord Dawn.
Also named on the one-day festival bill are Homebrew, LAB, Virtual Rio, Barely Alive, Dodge and Fuski, Astronaut and Dubloadz.
Drum N Bass act Pendulum will be performing a DJ set, while rapper Chali2na will appear with his band The House of Vibe.
The festival takes place in a summer packed with festivals, including New Year's events Rhythm & Vines, Northern Bass and Rhythm & Alps, as well as new Bay of Plenty festival McLaren Falls from January 10-12.
