Jimmy Barnes is coming back for a New Zealand tour in November - right after he recovers from back surgery in a Sydney hospital from which he had to be evacuated because of a series of bomb scares.
Threats to Royal Prince Alfred, Royal North Shore, Longueville and Prince of Wales hospitals were received on Monday.
Patients, some in wheelchairs, were evacuated from the top five floors of Prince of Wales private hospital as a result.
Barnes, who is recuperating in hospital after recent back surgery, was one of those patients and tweeted about the incident shortly afterwards.
"Bomb scare at hospital, not panicking but anyone for brain fluid?" he tweeted, with a photo of himself in a wheelchair outside the hospital.
