Having spent much of the year touring America, and writing a swag of new tunes, Dunedin-bred Auckland-based artist Anthonie Tonnon announced today he'll release his third album Successor in March next year, and a 14-date national tour to go with it.
It's exciting news for fans of Tonnon - the barb-tongued classic pop songwriter has spent the past 12 months exploring the US and Australia, and was in the studio to finish the nine songs that make up Successor.
Tonnon will be taking his band (Jonathan Pearce, Stuart Harwood, and Edward Castelow) on the road in March, starting at the Yot Club in Raglan on March 5, taking in Wanganui, Wellington, Palmerston North, Barrytown, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, Queenstown, Westport, Golden Bay, Paekakariki, Napier and Gisborne, before winding up in Auckland on Saturday, March 28.
