The latter half of 2017 (and the beginning of 2018) is heating up as a diverse array of musical acts announce New Zealand shows - including Angus and Julia Stone, who have announced three gigs in December.
Following a sold-out Australian tour, the brother-sister folk duo will return to New Zealand for a series of intimate concerts in iconic venues as part of their Snow tour.
The duo will play Auckland's Civic Theatre on December 15, Wellington's St James Theatre on December 16 and Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal on December 17.
The Snow tour celebrates the release of their new single Snow, the title track of their forthcoming new album.
In other news, The XX has announced their return to New Zealand after eight years, with one show at Auckland's Trusts Arena on January 11, 2018.
The show comes off the back of their third album I See You, and the band have partnered with PLUS1 to donate $1 from every ticket purchased to LGBTQ+ programmes in Auckland.
Kiwi legends SIX60 have also announced The New Waves World Tour, which sees them team up with Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz for four New Zealand shows next January.
With support from local hip-hop prodigy Kings, the New Waves tour hits Christchurch's Horncastle Arena on January 6, Wellington's TSB Bank Arena on January 8, Tauranga's Wharepai Domain on January 11 and Auckland's Villa Maria Winery on January 13.
SIX60 have spent much of 2017 working on new music, including a stint recording in LA, and fans can expect to hear the new songs throughout the tour.
Meanwhile, unprecedented demand has lead to a major upgrade for an international artist. After soulful crooner Khalid's Auckland Town Hall concert sold out within 10 minutes last Wednesday, the show has now been moved to Spark Arena.
New tickets for the November 12 show with go on sale today, while tickets purchased for the Town Hall show remain valid for the new venue.
The 19-year-old singer made waves with his sublime debut album American Teen, and is opening for our very own Lorde throughout her North American tour.
