A Place to Burn the Strangers, the Brooklyn trio with the reputation of being New York's loudest band and featuring former D4 member Dion Lunadon, is returning for a gig in the musician's hometown.
Last in Auckland to play at the 2013 Laneway Festival, APTBS is bringing their psychedelic noise-rock to the Kings Arms on September Monday 7.
The band of Lunadon (formerly Palmer) guitarist Oliver Ackermann and drummer Robi Gonzalez head to New Zealand after the recent release of the band's fourth album Transfixiation.
The Kings Arms is also playing host to a reunion show featuring early 80s Auckland punk band No Tag, among some other veterans of the era.
Also playing at the venue on Saturday September 5 will be The X-Features (former members of the Features Jed Town and Chris Orange) and Spelling Mistakes.
