Boy band 5 Seconds of Summer, the guitar-playing Australian punk-pop answer to One Direction is coming to New Zealand - in a year's time.
The Sydney band has announced an Australasian tour to start at Auckland's Vector Arena on June 18 2015 with tickets going on sale next week.
The band are currently on tour around the world opening for One Direction while their self-titled debut album briefly bumped Ed Sheeran fom the top of the NZ charts last week before dropping down to eighth position.
It debuted at #1 in Australia and eight other countries.
The group consisting of singer Luke Hemmings (17), bassist Calum Hood (18), guitarist Michael Clifford (18) and drummer Ashton Irwin (19) has sold out shows at London's 12,500 capactiy Wembley Arena.
