US network CBS has pulled the season-ending episode of its comedy Mike & Molly over concerns about its tornado-themed plot.
The show's Season 3 finale was to feature a tornado descending on Chicago, The Hollywood Reporter said.
"Due to the tragic events this afternoon in Oklahoma, we are pre-empting tonight's season finale of Mike & Molly, which has a related storyline," CBS said in a statement about its decision to pull the episode.
The official description of the pulled episode reads: "Mike and Carl get stuck working at the Renaissance Faire after their boss, Patrick, gets dumped by Mike's mother. Later, as a tornado descends on Chicago, Mike and Molly each confess important news to each other."
A 2km-wide tornado ripped through the Oklahoma City suburb Moore yesterday, killing at least 24 people.
