If it's good enough for Dave Dobbyn and Shapeshifter, then it's got to be good enough for Jools and Lynda Topp.
On April 15 the Topp Twins make their orchestral debut with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra for an evening of music, comedy and Kiwiana at the Auckland Town Hall.
The Topp Twins and the APO concert will feature music from their latest album, Honky Tonk Angel, favourites such as Untouchable Girls, Pinto Pony, and Nga Iwi E, as well as orchestral numbers given a Topp Twins twist.
And for something completely different, former punk rock growler-turned-spoken word artist and talkshow host Henry Rollins returns to New Zealand for two shows on April 25 at Wellington's Paramount Theatre, and Takapuna's Bruce Mason Theatre on April 26. Tickets from Ticketmaster.
Meanwhile, Crowded House have announced a one-off show at the Auckland Town Hall on Thursday April 8 to showcase material from the band's as yet untitled new album. Tickets go on sale on February 11.
