Singer Jon Toogood faces a busy day at next year's Homegrown music festival - he is set to perform with two of the event's headlining acts.
Toogood will perform with his new band The Adults earlier in the day, and then rock out with Shihad to close the annual all-Kiwi event set for Wellington's Waterfront on February 18.
Other bands named in today's first line-up announcement include Blacklist, Kora, Six60, Kids of 88, Shotgun Alley, The Black Seeds, Black River Drive and 1814.
The line-up also includes hip-hop acts Smashproof, David Dallas and Kidz in Space, and electronic acts Optimus Gryme, Bulletproof and Sunshine Soundsystem. A soundclash is also scheduled between P-Money and Concord Dawn.
AHoriBuzz, K One, The Thomas Oliver Band, Karn Hall and Nick D with the Sewela Soundsystem round out the bill, with a second line-up announcement due on October 31.
Tickets go on sale on September 26 or punters can register for the pre-sale here.
