Ah yes, just as the rest of us are wishing like crazy that we could leave our rainy shored behind and swap them for white sand, sun, a palm trees, Shortland Street is making is us even more wishful by going troppo too.
It's all under the guise of putting in some volunteer hours with the Fred Hollows Foundation in Fiji.
Boyd finds himself feeling guilty about his involvement in Sarah's death, and decides to head across the Pacific to clear his head, and find some redemption in charity work. But it turns out he won't be on is own - an unlikely party of Kylie, Harper and Chris, are heading along to help out too. Of course it wouldn't be Shortland Street without dramas, and Fiji doesn't seem to have quite the desired chill out effect on this quartet.
Boyd questions Kylie's commitment to her work, and Chris and Harper go head to head over an unlikely situation, while some talented Fijian actors get a chance to add their two cents' worth too.
