Tom Cruise hasn't seen daughter Suri in more than a year

Tom Cruise has allegedly not seen his daughter Suri in over a year.

According to TMZ, sources close to Katie Holmes, Suri's mother, the Mission Impossible star has "not been a part of her life."

Tom's representatives have previously denied this claim, stating that he has seen the eight-year-old but away from the public eye and behind closed doors.

For the last few months, Cruise has been filming the fifth instalment of Mission Impossible in London, but a source told the US website that he didn't see Suri once during the two weeks he had off following the end of production.

MailOnline have contacted Tom's spokesperson for comment.

Now he's in Atlanta to begin a 90-day shoot for Mena, but he made time for his adopted son Connor on Easter Sunday.

The pair were both glued to the NCAA Women's Final Four college basketball semi-final, watching UConn beat Maryland 81-58.

They looked relaxed and dressed down as they mingled with locals in Tampa, Florida, as they attended the game between Connecticut and Maryland.

Tom looked quite nervous during some intense play, as he supped on a sparkling water, and wore a black long-sleeved top. Connor, 20, sported a backwards baseball hat and grey t-shirt.

Connor is now a DJ who jets around the world and was recently reported to be comforting fellow Scientologist Kirstie Alley's daughter Lillie Parker after her childhood sweetheart and fiance Nick Trela was killed in a motorcycle accident last November.

Last year Connor denied rumours suggesting he is estranged from his mother Nicole Kidman, saying that their relationship is 'solid'.

Connor was adopted by Kidman and Cruise in 1995, two years after they adopted his sister Isabella.

In 2007, Nicole said her adopted children had even stopped calling her 'Mum', sparking rumours their relationship was strained.

Those rumours were fuelled further three years later, when she spoke publicly about the children - who are both committed Scientologists along with their father - choosing to live with Cruise.

It was claimed last month by InTouch Weekly that Tom Cruise has not seen his daughter Suri in 540 days.

But his team has insisted many times since his 2012 divorce from Holmes that the Top Gun star does make time for his youngest child and sees her often.

TMZ reported in mid March that Tom and Katie don't even talk. And when it comes to discussing Suri, they leave that up to intermediaries.

"They want nothing to do with each other to the point they don't speak to one another, even about Suri," a source told the site.

Even planning visitations and discussing how the little girl should be raised is done through others, it was alleged.

"There is no desire on either Tom's or Katie's part to mend fences," it was added.
