KEY POINTS:
Andrew Lloyd Webber's famous musical Cats is heading back to New Zealand this June. One of the longest-running and most popular shows in the world, it last came to New Zealand over a decade ago in 1995.
Based on T.S Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, the story centres around the Jellicle tribe of cats, and the outcast former glamourpuss Grizabella.
Tina Cross stars as Grizabella, and Shane Cortese will appear as Rum Tum Tugger, the flirtatious tomcat.
The show runs from June 6 to June 20 at the Civic Theatre in Auckland. Tickets are available from The Edge.
