KEY POINTS:
Desperate fans who paid up to $500 a ticket for this weekend's Justin Timberlake concerts will be distraught to learn the shows have not sold out.
Tickets to all three concerts are still available, starting from just $95.80 per ticket.
The first two concerts, originally scheduled for October, were reported to have sold out in record time, sparking several bidding frenzies on TradeMe.
However, a second release of tickets was issued last month, which have still not sold out.
Frontier Touring publicity and promotions manager Maria Robinson said just under 200 additional tickets were released for each of the three concerts.
"We had to hold a whole bunch because we weren't too sure of the size of the stage, we had what are called production holds on either side.
"The stage ended up not taking up as much room as we originally anticipated."
As of 11am this morning, silver seated tickets were available for all three shows, with gold tickets still available for Saturday night.
Special reserved seating, known as SexyBack Stools, were also available for all the concerts, at $344.50 a head.
The R18 seats are located between the front barrier and the stage and include VIP bar access.
Ms Robinson could not confirm how many tickets remained for the three shows but was confident that they would sell out.
"After Friday's show there's going to be a lot of talk around town. It's an incredible show."
* Timberlake plays Auckland's Vector Arena this Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings. Tickets available through Ticketmaster.
