Ticket's to Lorde's free show on Saturday night in Auckland were snapped up in just 10 minutes by eager fans.
The show, at Vector Arena, is part of a promotional campaign by online radio station iHeartRadio - a digital radio with access to over more than 1000 stations.
Tickets for the gig, which also features dubstep act Mt Eden, were given away from 4pm, and promoters said that all 5000 were snapped up within 10 minutes.
It is billed as Lorde's only public appearance in New Zealand for the rest of 2013.
The rising star and Royals singer - just 16 years old - is set to release her debut album Pure Heroine later this month.
