The movies: Looks like the wintry weather is here to stay for the weekend so it might be the perfect time to head along to A Wrinkle in Time, which is out today. Disney's latest blockbuster follows a young girl named Meg who, along with her brother Charles Wallace and friend Calvin O'Keefe, goes on an adventure to find her missing father. They're led by three magical beings — played by Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling — as they teleport through magical realms and face the evil "It". It's a heartwarming coming-of age story about family, friendship and faith — with a little touch of magic and parts were filmed right here in New Zealand. A Wrinkle in Time, cinemas everywhere from today
Home! If the weather does stay wild, maybe this will be the best place to be. If you're looking for a bit of a binge, you're out of luck with Killing Eve. The BBC murder mystery show, which stars Grey's Anatomy's Sandra Oh, is available now on TVNZ on Demand, but with episodes dropping weekly, you're going to have to be patient. That might be a good thing: the show follows Oh's Eve, an M15 agent tracking a serial killer. It's violent, yes, but this is from Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge, so it's also very funny, in a very dark way.

Q Theatre: Fancy an angry, feminist, live art investigation of language and power? You're in luck; Power Ballard is all this and more. Part performance lecture, part karaoke party, it rips apart contemporary language to find new expressions of pleasure, anger and femaleness and it does it to an 80 soundtrack to rival any school disco. Performed to massive audience and critical acclaim in New Zealand, Melbourne, Perth and Edinburgh, it's back in town for performances to raise funds so it can go on a UK tour.
