At $170 each, you and your bestie could afford tickets for the Rock 'n' Roll Train, seeing AC/DC at Auckland's Western Springs Stadium on December 15. You will also have enough left over for a commemorative T-shirt each and three beers to keep you going.
2. Soulfest
Or if AC/DC's not your thing you could pretty much do the same deal for Soulfest on October 26, except instead of just one legendary act you'll get the incomparable Ms Lauryn Hill, along with Mary J Blige, Miguel, Jill Scott, De La Soul, Ladi6, David Dallas and many, many, more. Tickets are $167. Phew!
3. Go local
If you so desired you could get into the underground Kiwi music scene and check out Violet Highway and friends at the Kings Arms in Auckland on July 9. With tickets costing just $10 you could take 49 of your closest mates. That's four bands with 49 friends for the same price as one ticket to Madonna.
4. Go dancing
Rather than blocking your ears, er, singing along to Living For Love, you and nine of your friends could party to Through The Roof by Australian electronic duo, Hermitude at The Studio in Auckland, July 11 - and still have enough left over for a beer each.
5. Rhythm & Vines
You and a friend could get yourself sorted for New Years, with two three-day passes to Rhythm & Vines in Gisborne. This will also leave you enough for petrol money and drinks. The headliners are yet to be announced - but they usually deliver.
