KEY POINTS:
When Robert Downey Jr took on the role of Marvel comic hero Iron Man, he knew he would have to get in shape and there would be some tough fighting scenes involved.
But he wasn't prepared to see himself as a 15cm tall, plastic action figurine.
"They literally have a scan of the exact proportions of your body, better than any sculptor or any artist could do - it's the real deal," the 43-year-old actor said.
"So then they just took the head part and shrunk it down and made that up and sent it to me for approval."
Iron Man is the latest Marvel comic to be made into a feature film.
