If you only see one hip-hop show see: Post Malone
The hot hip-hop ticket has to be Post Malone. He's currently topping the charts and his laid-back flow and bass-heavy beats suit the summer vibes.

If you only see one rock show see: Foo Fighters and Weezer
Foos and Weez, as we've taken to calling it, is the rock event of the summer. The stadium's going to shake and it wouldn't be unprecedented for the earth to quake - when the Foos played Western Springs they triggered the seismograph. Now that's some heavy rock.

If you only see one pop show see: Bruno Mars
Just sneaking into our arbitary February cut-off are these two Bruno Mars shows. Yes, he ruined the fedora for good but he's gonna throw a helluva pop party. So head downtown for some feel-good Uptown Funk.

If you only see one indie show see: Laneway Festival
Okay, yes, it's a cop-out cheat answer but hey, we're only thinking of your bank balance here... While there are oodles of great singular shows we could recommend, there's just no escaping the fact this fest gives you the most indie bang for your indie buck.
