KEY POINTS:
The Cut
Silo Theatre, Season ends Nov 3
Outrageous Fortune stars Robyn Malcolm and Frank Whittenswap the the underclass of West Auckland for the ruling class of the government. The Cut dissects the politics of state-endorsed torture in a dystopian tale told from the viewpoint of the torturer, via three scenes of him having conversations with key people in his life. The Silo's return to its more edgy roots is not perfect and the bare bones characters are challenging for the audience and actors alike, but enjoyable nonetheless.
