What a year.
It's never quiet in Hollywood, but 2017 was a doozy and not just because George Clooney and Beyonce had twins (not with each other) and almost every Kardashian was pregnant (reportedly).
It was not because the Academy Awards had an epic flub, A-list couples split at the speed of light or a long list of showbiz icons died.
2017 will be remembered as the year despicable, depraved men across Hollywood were exposed for their horrifying treatment of women.
Let's hope 2018 is the beginning of a new era of respect.
One of Hollywood's most powerful producers, Harvey Weinstein, was accused of sexually assaulting or harassing some of the industry's biggest names.
Ashley Judd, Rose McGowan, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Lupita Nyong'o were among the long list of women who accused Weinstein of unwanted advances or more.
Weinstein released a statement saying: "Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied."
The Weinstein furore sparked a wildfire of other allegations against some of entertainment's biggest names including Oscar winners Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Spacey and Ben Affleck, comedian Louis CK, NBC host Matt Lauer, chef Mario Batali and director Brett Ratner.
Shocking finale
The winner of the best picture Oscar is La La Land!
Yippeeeee.
(Two minutes later)
Wait. Ummm.
No, the winner is Moonlight.
The wrong envelope was given to Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway to read out and the biggest controversy in awards history was created.
The Academy also flubbed earlier in the ceremony when in the in memoriam section the late Australian costume designer Janet Patterson was to be honoured, but instead a photo of the still alive Australian producer Jan Chapman was shown.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are having a third child via surrogate; Kyle Jenner is (reportedly) having one the old fashioned way with rapper boyfriend Travis Scott; Khloe Kardashian and NBA star Tristan Thompson (reportedly) also have a bun baking.
Twins are in
The Kardashians will be so uncool if they have just one baby each.
In 2017 George and Amal Clooney welcomed twins Ella and Alexander, and Beyonce and Jay-Z had twins Sir and Rumi.
Madonna joined in the double-fest when she adopted orphaned twin girls from Malawi.
Bradley Cooper and supermodel Irina Shayk were sooooo 2016 by only having daughter Lea de Seine and the same for Janet Jackson with her son Eissa.
On November 27 Prince Harry and US actress Meghan Markle announced they were engaged.
Other A-list 2017 hook-ups included Jennifer Lopez giving up on dating back-up dancers and instead romancing former New York Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez.
Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander married.
Splitsville
Divorce lawyers cashed in as Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor, Scarlett Johansson and Romain Dauriac, and many more celeb couples parted ways.
A lunatic with an arsenal of weapons opened fire from a high-rise Las Vegas casino hotel suite on a Jason Aldean country music concert, killing 58 people and injuring around 500 others before turning a gun on himself.
Farewell
The entertainment world lost icons in 2017. Dim the lights and roll the sad music.
Rockers Tom Petty, Chuck Berry, Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell moved on to the mosh pit in the sky.
Playboy kingpin Hugh Hefner, TV icon Mary Tyler Moore, Big Love actor Bill Paxton, comedian Don Rickles and Partridge Family pretty boy David Cassidy also exited stage right.
