The ponytail pulling antics of Prime Minister John Key play a prominent part in the new music video from New Zealand's nocturnal art-rockers The Veils .
The devilishly brilliant video accompanies their single Low Lays the Devil, a swampy bluesy number taken from the group's fantastically murky new record Total Depravity.
Kiwi comedian Trygve Wakenshaw dons the red paint and horns to deliver a terrific display of interpretative dance in the title role of the devil. Kiwi director Tu Neill filmed the video in London.
The video also explicitly references other recent political embarrassments, such as former UK Prime Minister David Cameron's 'Piggate' scandal and the 'Bunga Bunga' parties of Italy's former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
