It seems like only yesterday Auckland audiences were jumping around and getting sweaty to British ska legends The Specials - and it almost was.
The band - made up of Terry Hall, Lynval Golding, Neville Staple, Sir Horace Gentlemen, Roddy Radiation and John Bradbury - were last here in late 2009 as part of their 30th anniversary world tour. And they're coming back for more when they play Shed 10 at Auckland's Queens Wharf on April 10 off the back of playing Australia's Byron Bay Bluesfest.
While they promise a brand new show this time round you can still expect to hear all the hits including A Message To You Rudy, Gangsters, and their ode to Thatcherism, Ghost Town.
Tickets go on sale March 7 at ticketmaster.co.nz.
