Save Former pro wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will film a Hollywood epic about Hercules in New Zealand later this year.
According to Variety, Johnson will star in a Brett Ratner-directed film based on the comic book Hercules: The Thracian War.
Filming is set to begin in October in New Zealand,
the report suggests.
Johnson, who is of Samoan descent, went to primary school in South Auckland, reported msn.co.nz.
Johnson has become a big name Hollywood movie star, taking on starring roles in Doom, Get Smart and Tooth Fairy.
