It's official: The Last of Us is coming to the PlayStation 4 this winter.
The game's new-gen version will be called The Last of Us Remastered, and will include higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, upgraded textures, and more.
It will also include a director's commentary for all in-game cinematics featuring creative director and writer Neil Druckmann, game director Bruce Straley, and voice actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson (Joel and Ellie).
The game's story expansion Left Behind will be bundled in, as will the Abandoned Territories multiplayer map pack and something called the Reclaimed Territories pack - details of which are coming soon according to Sony.
Those who preorder The Last of Us Remastered will receive 100 Supply Points (XP) for use in Factions mode, two special bonus skins for Joel and Ellie which will be unlocked after you complete the single player campaign, increased crafting and healing speeds, increased 9mm reload speed, and a rifle clip capacity increase.
