Joseph Parker
heavyweight boxer
"I'm still here in Vegas training for my next big fight. On Anzac Day, I'll spend some time reflecting on the massive sacrifices made by generations who fought and died in war. I think it's important we learn from history so we can have a better future."
"I don't have any plans other than spending the day with my daugh-ter. We went to the Auck-land Domain during the week and signed a poppy card which was nice and very moving. It was a low-key and quiet moment in the middle of the day, and just a contemplative chance to read the tributes and messages to our soldiers."
Andrew Little
Leader of the Opposition
"I am at Gallipoli as part of the government delegation. At a personal level, I will lay poppies at a couple of the memorials to honour members of my wife's family."
Simon Bridges
National MP
"I'm taking my wife and family to the combined civic memorial service for the Mt Maunganui and Tauranga RSAs at the Tauranga Domain. We'll be reflecting on the sacrifices made by our soldiers who fought for us, and those in the current armed services."
Manu Bennet
actor
"I'm going to the dawn service at the Domain with my family and I'll pay tribute to my uncles who fought in WWII. My uncle Charles Bennett was the youngest commander of the Maori Battalion and fought against Rommel in Tunisia. He was later awarded the DSO. I have three other uncles — Henry, Albie and Manuhuia (whom I'm named after) - who all fought in the Second World War too. All my uncles came home alive. I grew up in Australia and never knew my uncles, but I'm very proud of what they sacrificed."
Sophia Huybens
actress in When We Go To War, Sunday TV One
"I'm going to St Andrews church with my family to pay my respects to my relatives who were killed during WWI and WWII. The church has a special significance for us because there is a stained glass window that was placed there in the 1920's as a memorial to my great-grandmother's cousin who was killed at Gallipoli."
"I'm going to Mt Smart Stadium to watch the Warriors play the Titans. And I'll visit my local RSA in Grey Lynn and watch the parade to the Anzacs. I recently found out my great-great uncle served at Gallipoli, and two other great-great uncles fought in Europe. All three of them came home."
Guy Williams
comedian
"To be honest, I haven't been to a dawn service since I went to Gallipoli at high school. Thanks for the kick in the butt. I'll set my alarm."
Kayla Cullen
Silver Fern and Northern Mystics
"I don't have much planned for Anzac Day, although I will probably go to a service at the Auckland Domain to pay my tributes.
We have a game tomorrow against the Queensland Firebirds, and I will wear a poppy on my tracksuit."
John Banks
ex-MP and former Mayor
"It's a very significant day in this nation's history. I'll be attending the dawn parade and then the civic service as the last mayor of Auckland."
Liam Messam
the Chiefs
"We played the Western Force [last night] at Waikato Stadium and we had a special honour to the Anzac soldiers at the game among the Aussie and Kiwi players."
"It has been a week of early starts on set so I shall be well ready to honour the Anzacs at the dawn service in Sydney."
Arthur Green
star of The Bachelor
I will be attending the dawn service at the Auckland Domain. I've been doing a bit of reading on the Gaillipoli war and I can't even begin to comprehend what those Kiwi soldiers went through. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime event that I can't miss."
Greg Boyed
One News Presenter
"Apart from going along to the Dawn parade at the Museum, I've not much planned."
