Anna Hutchison
Look, we found our favourite Go Girl in Chicago at a Cubs game. Wrigley Field makes quite the backdrop for A-Hutch and her male friend as they watched the famous baseball team score a win against the Kansas City Royals. The actress posted the chummy pic to Instagram and wrote the hashtag: "#tworowsbehindbartman." Is she referring to the infamous Steve Bartman, who 12 years ago, interferred with a foul ball during a playoff game much to the ire of Cubs fans, and has since gone under the radar and out of the public eye, spurning more than 200 interview requests? Well, looks like Hutchy found him!
Siobhan Marshall
She's our second favourite blonde on Dancing with the Stars. Chrysal is numero uno, and will take home the glitter ball trophy, mark my words (prophecy #1). But actress Siobhan Marshall, who admits channelling a French woman to get into character before she hits the dancefloor, comes a close second. She'll be the viewers' fave (prophecy #2). We especially like Siobhan's self-deprecating wit. It's refreshing, particularly for a show that's cheesier than a Manchego factory. "This is why I'm not helping with the choreography," the actress posted yesterday, complete with an adorably dorky picture that makes her a shoo-in for Miss Congeniality in our books.
Manu Vatuvei
He admitted last year to being addicted to kava sessions which, he said, helped with recovery after games. Now we find Warriors star Manu Vatuvei has still got the taste for the tonic. He celebrated the team's win against the Knights on Sunday with a huge bowl of the mouth-numbing liquid. Er, each to their own.
Eric Watson
Warriors co-boss Eric Watson is holidaying in Istanbul, the same city where he celebrated his 50th birthday six years ago with a lavish Orient Express-themed bash at the Sirkeci train station, and at the ire of Hanover investors. Watson and his partner Lisa, the mother of his three youngest sons, have been taking in the sites of the Bosphorus and the Hagia Sophia, and a black-tie Turkish banquet.
Colin Slade
This black-and-white pic of All Blacks Colin Slade and Israel Dagg flanking Six60's Matiu Walters and Ji Fraser is très rock'n'roll. Dark and brooding. Leather jackets. A shaka hang loose signal. The pic was taken backstage after their Christchurch gig on Saturday.
Jonah Lomu
Rugby legend Jonah Lomu flew first-class to Dubai yesterday with his wife Nadene, he told fans on social media. It's a big year for Lomu, who will tour the UK in September and October on a speaking engagements. He turned 40 a couple of weeks ago, and thanked his wife and sons, Brayley nd Dhryreille. "Daddy is so happy to have you both in his life," Lomu wrote on Facebook. "Your [sic] the best and only present I need." Aw, bless.
Phil Keoghan
The Kiwi star of The Amazing Race turned 48 on Sunday, and celebrated at the Critics Choice Awards in LA where he was nominated in the 'Best Reality Series Host' category alongside Dancing With the Stars' Tom Bergeron, and others. The pair, who worked together 21 years ago at the FX network, took this selfie. Alas, British export Cat Deeley von So You Think You Can Dance took home the gong.
Max Key
Abs, undies and aviators. First Kid Max Key takes (another) young romance selfie with his girlfriend Amelia Finlayson, or as he likes to call her, his "Queen". Sweet.
Makere Bradnam
Sports television presenter and tennis coach Makere Bradnam (centre) went to a fancy dress party on the weekend channelling Beyonce, a la her Single Ladies period. Love the leotard. Love the cleavage. Could do without the visible panel gusset in the 'hose, though.
