Laura McGoldrick is skiing at Aspen, Colorado, where she is celebrating the 40th birthday of her BFF Gretchen Hawkesby. Gretchen's pop, billionaire Graeme Hart, has a lavish chalet in the ski town. Laura took to the slopes of Buttermilk mountain with her brother, Tim, and we're not envious much. Ok, a lot.

Kim Crossman has embarked on a year of adventure by slip-and-sliding her way down a 30-metre tarp at Pauanui beach with only hunky Jesse James Cassrels as protection. Is it any wonder she's grinning? She's leaving these shores for the U.S. to embark on more acting gigs. If she's auditioning for action roles she'll at least have the bruises to show she's up for it.

Sam Cane took the plunge off Charlie's Rock - Kerikeri's iconic swimming hole and waterfall. Although, we hope he landed with his legs together. It could have been painful.
