The co-star making Heidi Klum a lot less glum

When Heidi Klum spoke for the first time last month about the end of her marriage, the supermodel declared that she was ready to move forward with her life.

Now, just two months since announcing that she was splitting from pop star Seal, it seems the mother of four is doing just that with the help of a television co-star whom she has already introduced to her father.

German-born Miss Klum, 38, dined with Thomas Hayo, one of her co-stars on Germany's Next Top Model even allowing him to feed her with a plastic fork as they sat at a picnic table on set.

Miss Klum looked relaxed as she giggled and flirted with Mr Hayo, a marketing expert based in New York, who appeared to have his hand on her thigh as they took a break from filming.
But it was the arrival of Miss Klum's father, Gunther, which signalled the extent to which she has moved on since the breakdown of her marriage at the end of January.

Mr Hayo, who has known Miss Klum for more than a decade, shook hands warmly with a smiling Mr Klum as he arrived at the set in Los Angeles last week.

Miss Klum, who has three children from her marriage to British-born singer Seal and a daughter from a relationship with Formula 1 billionaire Flavio Briatore, confirmed in January that her seven-year marriage was over.

The couple, who were believed to have had one of the strongest marriages in show-business and made a point of renewing their wedding vows every year, said in a joint statement that they had grown apart.

Miss Klum divorced her first husband, stylist Ric Pipino, in 2002 and met Seal in 2003 when she was pregnant with daughter Leni, now seven.
