The internet is currently losing its mind over the latest revelations about Taylor Swift and Kimye.
This afternoon, Kim Kardashian released a video of Taylor Swift's conversation with Kanye West in which she gives her blessing for him to rap about her on his song Famous.
The internet erupted into anti-Taylor rhetoric within seconds, and the hashtag #KimExposedTaylorParty started trending worldwide with people celebrating the fact that Swift has been "ousted" as a liar, and her "true colours" are finally showing.
But if you break down the response Swift posted to all of her social media accounts, the pop star might still have a valid point.
Swift says: "Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me "that b****" in his song? It doesn't exist because it never happened".
"You don't get to control someone's emotional response to being called "that b****" in front of the entire world," she says.
And she's right; in the videos, she and West are only heard discussing the line: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex", but not the one that follows it: "I made that b**** famous".

She continues: "Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song for me, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot 'approve' a song you haven't heard.
"Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination."
However, on the other side of that, she is also heard as saying: "go with whatever line you think is better - it's obviously very tongue and cheek either way" and it's unclear which lines she's talking about.
Either way, Swift's friend Selena Gomez has spoken out in her defence, saying: "This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential [so much hate].
"Truth is, [the] last thing we need right now is hate, in any form. There are more important things to talk about...Why can't people use their voice for something that f****** matters?"
