She's had more than her fair share of heartbreak for one so young.
And having made her fortune from break-up songs, Taylor Swift put that disastrous relationship history to good use as she counselled a fan online.
The singer is renowned for interacting with her Swifties in the internet, but Kasey Andrew got the shock of her life when her heartbroken plea for advice got a personal answer.
"Taylorswift I hope you see this but we've been together for 4 months, he just texted me and told me he was done with me," Kasey gushed in a Tumblr post.
"Gave me no reason and kept trying to get me to do irrational things to get him back. Now he's calling me names and I just feel crumbled. I don't know what to do."
Agony aunt Swift certainly did see it, and simply couldn't not believe he - whoever "he" is - could do such a thing. "He just ended it, just like that?" she wrote.
Since nobody bar nobody is as qualified in the field of breakups as Taylor Swift, the 25-year-old then consoled the youngster on the devastating news.
"It's so devastating to come to terms with speaking of someone in the past tense when you used to see them as your present and your future," she said of the four-month relationship.
"Heartbreak is awful enough," she added, advising her devastated fan that she shouldn't be putting up with name-calling on top of that, telling her she should block the guy on her phone.
The Shake It Off singer than started the healing process by thoughtfully compiling a "break up/moving on" playlist, including Charli xcx, Montgomery, Haerts, MisterWives, Azure Ray and Measure, but interestingly noen of her own extensive break-up catalogue.
After the exchange went viral, Kasey seemed a lot perkier about the breakup.
"Taylor Swift it is far past my bed time so I am going to bed,," she wrote.
"Thank you for the amazing playlist that I can't stop listening to. For being the reason I was able to get through today and sleep last night. You're such a wonderful human being and you have made me so happy.
"I am so lucky to have you in my life. I love you Taylor. Thank you again. Goodnight sleep well."
Taylor is a dab hand at surprising fans, having previously sent some gifts or invited them over to her house.
Most recently at the Grammys she managed to track down fan Jill Ralke who had mentioned online that she was going, and had her brought backstage to take selfies with her.
