Taylor Swift can't sue Kimye because she knew other people were on the call

If Taylor Swift was planning to sue over this Famous feud, she's probably re-thinking that now.

News came yesterday that Swift's team were considering legal action on the grounds the call between her and Kanye - which Kim released on Snapchat - had been illegally recorded.

If Swift were to win, Kim and Kanye could be looking at a fine of around $2500 and up to a year in jail.

However, the law only applies when "one of the parties has an objectively reasonable expectation that no one is listening in or overhearing the conversation," according to Harvard's Digital Media Law Project.

And according to TMZ, Swift knew other people were in the room listening in and she was on speaker phone, and in the full-length version of the recording, producer Rick Rubin and several others chime in on speaker, thus it cannot be considered "confidential communication".

Meanwhile, Camilla Belle is the latest celeb to lash out at Swift.

The actress is believed to be the subject of Swift's song Better Than Revenge, which she wrote following her break up with Joe Jonas, who dumped her for Belle.

Swift's lyrics included: "She's not a saint and she's not what you think. She's an actress, she's better known for the things that she does on the mattress."

Belle tweeted: "No need for revenge. Just sit back and wait. Those who hurt you will eventually screw up themselves and if you're lucky, God will let you watch (sic)."
