Precious treasure Brendan Cole, 34, married his bride Zoe Hobbs, 29, in a British summer wedding that has predictably become a publicity affair.
The Kiwi house dancer on the UK show Strictly Come Dancing was surrounded by a hodge-podge of schlebrity pals. The show's host Bruce - 'Nice to see you, to see you' - nice! - Forsyth was there. As was former Rolling Stone wife Jo Wood and flamboyant Dancing with the Stars judge Craig Revel-Horwood.
Beaming back from the pages of international celebrity gossip rag Hello magazine this week, Cole, his fashion model wife and his D-list celebrity pals pose for photos in the predictable sell-up spread.
The cover of the magazine perhaps says it all. Cole may be the groom but Forsyth is the bigger star. The 82-year-old face of The Generation Game cuddles up to the bride looking more like the sugar daddy hubby, while the new husband, Cole, takes a background role, appearing more like a groomsmen in the bridal party with Jo Wood and her wayward mop his daggy partner. Oh dear.
As his biggest fan, Cole is no stranger to flogging his story to the friendly hacks at Hello. The mate of chequebook journalism sold the story of his relationship to Hobbs (not to be confused with former flame Katrina Hobbs) over nine glossy pages in 2008 and banged on about his romantic proposal in Paris.
This time it was the wedding. I'm no Deb Webber but it's not hard to predict the stories and accompanying pictures from the honeymoon and first baby pictures will be next. You know the schlebrity drill.
The couple married in a 13th century church in the grounds of Nether Winchendon House in Buckinghamshire. Cole, who reportedly could not hold back the tears as his bride came down the aisle, gushed to the UK publication: "She takes my breath away."
Britain's Daly Mail said the love rat dancer "has put his years of womanising behind him to waltz his girlfriend Zoe Hobbs up the aisle." Cole had somewhat of a reputation as a ladies' man.
But the man who has been linked to a string of beauties, from Nicky Watson to glamour model Kelly Brook, has finally hung up his lothario lines and said "I-do".
