Reformed metal acts System of a Down and Limp Bizkit are set to headline Aussie music festival Soundwave in 2012.
The line-up for the five-date festival was announced today and also includes Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Hole, Machinehead, Lamb of God, Coal Chamber, Angels and Airwaves and Trivium.
New Zealand often gets sideshows on the back of Soundwave and Kiwi metal fans will be hoping at least some of the headlining acts make it across the ditch.
System of a Down and Limp Bizkit were popular in the late 90s and early 2000s but split in the middle of the decade.
They both recently reformed and headlined European festivals, with Limp Bizkit releasing a new album, but neither has visited New Zealand since their reunion.
