Tonight's two-hour final saw the two remaining contestants, Suzanne Paul and Megan Alatini dance three styles each (a mixture of Latin and Ballroom).
Alatini and comeback infomercial queen Paul defied an online Herald poll that predicted their early demise in TVNZ's popular series.
They knocked out former Silver Fern and newsreader April Ieremia, actor Greer Robson, former All Black Frank Bunce, broadcaster Paul Holmes, Wanganui mayor Michael Laws and former Tall Black, Brendon Pongia.

* Background: Immigrated to New Zealand from Cape Town in 1987 and later became one of five members of the world's first made-for-TV pop band, TrueBliss. The band had a number one album and single in 1999 in New Zealand.
