Susan Boyle might duet with a rapper on her second album.
The Scottish singing sensation - who shot to fame last year on Simon Cowell's show Britain's Got Talent - is reportedly being lined up by her management company, Syco, to sing alongside an American hip-hop star when she begins work on her second album next month.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "They are looking at ballads and more musical style stuff, but this time around they want to try to make her a recording artist - original material, and giving Susan a chance to show what she's really all about. She's got an opportunity to find herself and she loves all sorts of music - including rap.
"Her management know that she's a huge success around the globe and if she were to work with one of the big stars of the rap world they know they'd probably have an instant hit on their hands if it was done correctly."
The 49-year-old star - who is set to work with producer Steve Mac, the songwriter behind JLS's number one hit Beat Again - has already had a number of offers from US artists such as Snoop Dogg, Lady Gaga and 50 Cent, who are keen to work with her.
Snoop Dogg recently said: "She's a great artist. I'm looking forward to going into the studio with her, why not? We're going to get our minds together and figure out what we're going to sing about. I'm down with that."
The Wild Horses singer is particularly keen to duet with Lady Gaga.
She previously said: "I think Lady Gaga is a wonderful artist and completely original and I like her costumes. Love it! Yes, I'd love to do a duet with her, complete with telephone hat too!"
