Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah has spent a night in a police cell after she was arrested on suspicion of assault.
The 23-year-old pop star was taken to Guildford Police Station, Surrey, after a weekend brawl on the dance floor of nightspot Bar Met. The alleged victim is an 18-year-old woman.
A Sugababes' spokeswoman said: "There was an incident on Saturday night and Amelle is helping police with their inquiries. I can't say more than that because she is on a flight to LA." Berrabah was released on police bail pending further inquiries.
