Former All Black Josh Kronfeld and partner Rachel Burstein were booted out of TV One's Dancing with the Stars last night.
The judges gave them the lowest scores and the public concurred when their scores came in.
All three semifinalist pairs were told that they needed to bring out their own brand of magic to the dance floor just before they began their two dances each tonight.
However, the magic was lacking in Kronfeld who was criticised for being "stodgy", "a performance with no intensity and no technique" and his first dance "wasn't just good enough" for the judges, despite doing better in the second.
Barbara Kendall and partner Jonny Williams, with 71 points, sailed away easily into next week's finals as did weatherman Tamati Coffey and partner Samantha Hitchcock with the highest score of 74.
Kronfeld and Burstein received 55 points.
