KEY POINTS:
Welsh rockers the Stereophonics, led by that cute little fella Kelly Jones, return to New Zealand after a 10-year absence to play at the Powerstation on May 11.
This tour is in support of the trio's latest album Pull the Pin but many know the band best for hit song Dakota from the 2005 album Language. Sex. Violence. Other?.
Meanwhile the Bats, along with their friends from Minisnap, step out on tour again and visit the main centres, including a stop at Auckland's Whammy Bar on K' Rd on April 4. Electronic folk duo George and Queen also play the show which is in support of the Bats' new digital single Crimson Enemy - "a three-minute joyride through a surreal shadowy landscape" says the band - which is available at iTunes Music Stores in NZ and Australia.
Also, US punk rockers The Dirtbombs just don't want to go home, playing an extra show on St Patrick's Day at Whammy Bar on K' Rd.
