KEY POINTS:
When it comes to the world of celebrity babies, the first month of 2008 has been a fruitful one.
So far we've welcomed Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden's baby girl, Harlow Winter Kate Madden and Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman's baby boy, Max Liron to this world. Both were born on the same day - January 12th - at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.
In light of the news that singer Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting their second child, we take a look at which other celebs have been rolling between the bed sheets of late.
Ethan Hawke, 37, and his girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes, 28, today confirmed they are expecting their first child together. Shawhughes was nanny to Hawke's two children with his former partner Uma Thurman until the couple divorced in 2004.

Jennifer Lopez publicly announced her pregnancy with hubby Marc Anthony during her concert in Miami last November.
Many tabloid publications reported Lopez had gone into labour yesterday but the couple denied the reports. Marc's representative said: "It's not true. We have been getting the same phone calls since last week. Everybody figures it is happening around now and they are hoping they will be right."
41-year-old actress Halle Berry and her boyfriend, 32-year-old model Gabriel Aubry have been dating since November 2005 and announced their baby news last September. The former Catwoman is due to give birth this March.

Fellow Aussie Cate Blanchett and husband Andrew Upton are also expecting their third child in April.
Perhaps the most controversial pregnancy to date is that of Jamie Lynn Spears, who appears to be following in her sister's footsteps - when it comes to babies that is.
At the tender age of sixteen, Jamie Lynn announced her pregnancy to long-time boyfriend Casey Aldridge.
Others expecting this year: Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, Melissa Joan Hart, Soleil Moon Frye and Jason Goldberg, Brooke Burke and David Charvet, Jack Black and Tanya Haden.
