The stars of one of Netflix's most popular documentaries are coming to New Zealand for a live show: The Minimalists.
American authors, podcasters, filmmakers and public speakers, Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus will present an in-depth talk about minimalism and do a live version of their hugely successful podcast series The Minimalists Podcast.
The pair shot to fame with the release of their Netflix documentary Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things, which examines the life of living with less - giving up wealth, material belongings and consumerism in general in a bid to lead a happier, more fulfilling life.
It all started when the pair hit age 28. They both turned their backs on six figure careers and started spreading the word of minimalism.
Since then they've had a number one indie documentary, written three books, including the best selling memoir, Everything That Remains, launched a #1 Podcast, cofounded an indie publishing house and gone on a 100 city international speaking tour.
They'll be at Auckland's Ellerslie Events Centre on March 17. See tegdainty.com for tickets and details.
