Han Solo was a very clever man so it's no surprise he was able to understand Chewbacca's howls.
But a video has been released of footage on set where Chewbacca actually speaks English (and with a British accent).
In a clip from The Empire Strikes Back that has made the rounds online, documentarian Jamie Benning has resurfaced it.
