Wedding bells could be in the air for an unassuming Kiwi insurance broker and one of Britain's most glamorous women.
Charlie Thomson has been dating BBC presenter Alex Jones for a year, engaging in an elaborate game of cat and mouse with the tabloid press to maintain his privacy.
Now Jones, 38, has revealed that she wants to wed Thomson.
"It would be lovely to get married," she told British press.
"But I have to understand that Charlie's family, who I've met, are all in New Zealand and it's a huge decision for him to consider living in another country for the rest of his life."
