One of TVNZ's most popular reporters Matt McLean is leaving the network after nine years.
The baby-faced reporter first arrived at the national broadcaster in 2007 to work on Breakfast, saying: "I looked like a high school student who had borrowed his dad's suit for the school play, but it was genuinely the culmination of a life-long dream."
Based in Wellington for several years, he went on to work for Close Up before moving up to Auckland and joining the One News team on TVNZ's flagship 6pm bulletin.
McLean is leaving the network to try his luck overseas, heading to London.
"It has honestly been the most incredible time of my life. I love meeting people and telling stories, and the opportunity to do that on a daily basis has been nothing short of amazing."
The reporter is just one of several upcoming departures from the TVNZ newsroom. Fellow reporter Max Bania has also resigned to head overseas, while former Campbell Live reporter Anna Burns-Francis will leave the network now Rebecca Wright has returned from maternity leave.
Donna-Marie Lever (left) has left TVNZ after more than 10 years.
Respected police reporter Donna-Marie Lever also ended her TVNZ career last week, leaving the network after more than a decade.
Meanwhile, over at TV3, Christchurch-based senior journalists Jeff Hampton and Phil Corkery have left the broadcaster.
Political reporter Tova O'Brien has left the gallery, heading to London as TV3's new Europe correspondent. She takes over from Melissa Davies, who was recently announced as the new weekend presenter, alongside former Australia correspondent Tom McRae.

McRae has returned from his overseas posting with his wife Rachel Jackson-Lees.
The sought-after role is now being advertised, with Jenny Suo tipped as the favourite to cross The Ditch. She faces stiff competition from Kim Vinnell and Ash Tulloch, who are rumoured to be actively pursuing the role.
