Spy: Westside star backs best mate in DWTS

Bestie actors Ben Barrington and Will Hall hit our screens back-to-back tonight.

Barrington is first up with his star turn on Dancing with the Stars, followed by Hall in Outrageous Fortune prequel Westside.

Hall is rooting for Barrington to win DWTS and will be joined front row with fellow cast members from Westside at the live show at South Pacific Pictures' Studios. Hall reckons Barrington has the heart of a lion and if he can improve on his past dancing experiences at the Longroom Ponsonby bar, he could go all the way.

After the show, Barrington and fellow dancer and Outrageous Fortune star Siobhan Marshall are invited to watch the first episode of Westside with producers and cast upstairs at SPP.

Hall plays Detective Mike McCarthy, who keeps the West family on their toes. He admits he has had experience on the other side of the law. "I have twice been put in the slammer overnight for shenanigans. Fortunately no charges were laid."
