Waiheke came alive for the last of the summer weddings last weekend. First up, A Touch of Spice owner Jacqui Spice, internationally renowned for creating luxurious travel moments and personal celebrations, married Oceania Aviation New Zealand Director Josh Camp.
The Queenstown-based couple met in March 2012 and have three gorgeous kids between them, Holly, Oliver and Ollie. The pair chose Poderi Crisci as their wedding venue, exchanging vows in the garden then enjoying a long lunch in a Tuscan-styled marquee. Guests drank Bollinger Champagne and margaritas and enjoyed live opera and jazz from Nathan Haines.
The bride was stunning in a silk Johanna Johnson gown, the groom wore Working Style with aplomb and their bridal party were the children. Holly wore Trelise Cooper and the boys were as smart as the groom in suits.
Another wedding of note was California based stylish couple Tom Worley, systems engineer for Rat Sound Systems and front-of-house technician for Coachella, and Georgie Urlich, buyer for chic fashion company The Mercantile. The couple had a black-tie wedding at Onetangi and a number of A-List Aucklanders attended. Annabel Fay and former Shortland Steet actor Spencer Falls flew in from California to join the couple.
