The countdown is on for the The Land Rover NZ Polo Open in two weeks' time.
At 1885 Britomart on Tuesday, the players taking part in one of summer's best events were announced.
Although not in their tight playing regalia, the strapping international and local polo professionals pleased the women in the room and were excited about the upcoming tournament.
The very single English player Tom Morley, 34, who is playing for Rod & Gunn, told Spy: "I love playing in the NZ Polo Open and return annually to compete because not only is it a world-class competition, but also because I can abort England in the winter and have great Kiwi mates to hang out with. What's not to love about a New Zealand summer?"
Another player set to get the attention of the ladies is 20-year-old South African player Dirk Van Rennen.
