Congratulations are in order for Marcus Lush and his wife Vanessa Underwood, who welcomed their second child this week - a little brother for 20-month old Tracker.
The popular broadcaster, who will take over hosting nights on Newstalk ZB next year, announced the news on Monday.
Last year, he told The Women's Weekly he had spent 10 years wanting to have children, before finally becoming a father at the age of 47.
"I was mindful that people get to their 40s and panic if they don't have children ... but for us, it was about our special relationship and the real closeness we share. And with or without children, we knew we would be forever. We just thought having a family would be a great thing to do."
The couple have yet to reveal the name of their new arrival but could look to the deep south for inspiration, as they did for Tracker, who is named after a local Bluff oysterman, Eric "Tracker" Black.
