The antics of six Auckland high-society ladies - aka The Real Housewives of Auckland - will spearhead the local content on Bravo, MediaWorks' new reality-TV-focused channel launching in July.
And Spy has learned Kiwis could also be treated to a rebooted version of The Ridges, the 2012 reality show that looked at the lives of Auckland socialites Sally and Jaime Ridge. The network recently approached several editors to see if they were keen to work on recutting the original version.
The show featured the highs and lows of Sally and Jaime's public and private lives, including Jaime's training regime and eventual appearance in a charity fight night.
Jamie told us she had no idea a reboot was on the cards and MediaWorks was this week coy on the move, telling Spy: "At this stage we will have to decline to comment."
We can think of a few reasons why MediaWorks may want to recut the footage to suit today's audience.
