Action star Manu Bennett flew out to the US on Wednesday for his latest acting assignment.
But before he left New Zealand - to work on a secret film project in Michigan - the 45-year-old had a special dinner with one of his favourite New Zealanders, Maori rights activist and artist Tame Iti.

The pair dined out at Leonardo's in Rotorua, with Bennett's gorgeous partner Karin Horen and rising Maori designer Kharl-William Wirepa who has been invited to host a show at Paris Fashion Week.
